Black Dwarf Is Now Green! Date: 02/12/2009 I've just switched Black Dwarf over to Dream Host who seem to be a very excellent provider so far. They are also completely carbon neutral and so therefor, so is Black Dwarf. It took a while but I've also fully ported over the Black Dwarf Forums as well and updated it to the latest stable phpBB release while I was at it. Phpg V1.8 Update Date: 06/05/2009 As you may or may not have noticed the release date for phpg v1.8 has come and gone. Unfortunately I haven't had any time to do it due to house hunting and many other things occupying my time. I am still committed to making phpg EVEN better and will be releasing v1.8 soon however I can't promise a date at this exact time. Hopefully the update is worth the extra long waiting time! Phpg Updates Coming Soon! Date: 05/04/2009 The upcoming release date for phpg v1.8 Beta (27th, April, 2009) is very quickly approaching. It�s been quite a while since I released any updates or news for phpg and this is mainly due to my time been totally involved in house hunting. This is still going on currently but hopefully I�ll be able to release v1.8 on time and with the features promised in the phpg timeline. Through the Features Request Board it�s been made quite clear that support for individual user login�s and public and private folder viewing is the main priority for this update. I�ll also be trying to setup commenting and in page picture loading with some very nice AJAX scripts. Site Admin

New Forum Look Date: 25/02/2009 After doing a bit of searching around, I have loaded up and updated the Black Dwarf Forum with a nice new Theme. There was a little down time during the process as it was also upgraded a bit version wise but everything is back up and working perfectly. Site Admin

New Astronomy Section Date: 14/02/2009 After a couple of hours development, I'm proud to announce the Black Dwarf Astronomy section. For the moment there is only 1 picture available, however there will be more to come as they are taken. Forum Registration Temporarily Closed Date: 08/02/2009 Due to the large number of automatic bots creating spam accounts on the Black Dwarf Forum, I've temporarily disabled account creation. Whether or not this stops them I'll have to wait and see, but hopefully after a week or two I can enable it again and there won't be any more problems. Please note though, anyone is still able to make posts or topics in the phpg section just as they were before. Site Admin

CAPTCHA Security Upgrade Date: 05/02/2009 Due to a number of lame bots registering with the Forum lately, I've increased the security on CAPTCHA a bit. It now makes it a fair bit harder to read and decipher the number/letter combination. Hopefully this stops the bots in their tracks and I can get some peace. Site Admin

Phpg V1.7 Released Date: 31/01/2009 With many new features, phpg v1.7 has been officially released. The main upgrade is the Administration System plus all the new security I've added.
