600g Lamb Backstrap 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar 30ml Water 30g Cornflour 30ml Tamari Soy Sauce 1 Lettuce 1 Carrot 100g Mushrooms 100g Cheese
Recipe Instructions:
1. Cut the lamb backstrap up into strips approximately 8cm by 2cm. 2. Set them aside and prepare the salad by mixing the torn apart lettuce, peeled carrot, diced mushrooms and grated cheese together. 3. In a cup add the brown sugar, tamari soy sauce and water. Mix together until the sugar has dissolved. Then add cornflour and mix once more. The sauce should be quite thin as the cornflour will thicken up when heated. 4. Put the cut up lamb into a oiled, hot frying pan. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes. 5. Turn the flame off and add the prepared sauce into the frying pan. Continue to mix it until the sauce thickens from the heat of the frying pan. 6. Serve onto two separate plates with salad on each.
