Recipe Ingredients:

4 Veal Steaks
2 Cloves Garlic
1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
1 Tablespoon Chopped Parsley
1 Onion
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Oil
60g Butter
1 Tablespoon Oil, Extra
2/3 Cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese

Sauce:
30g Butter
2 Tablespoons Plain Flour
1 And 1/3 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Cream
125g Button Mushrooms
Salt, Pepper

Recipe Instructions:

1. Remove any fat from the veal steaks, pound steaks out thinly. Place steaks in glass or china dish in single layer.
2. Combine crushed garlic, oregano, parsley, peeled and sliced onion, lemon juice and oil in bowl. Mix well.
3. Pour marinade over steaks and stand for 2 hours. Drain steaks and pat dry with absorbent paper. Heat butter and extra oil in pan, add steaks and cook on both sides until browned.
4. Remove steaks and place in shallow ovenproof dish in single layer, pour sauce over steaks and sprinkle top with combined cheeses.
5. Bake uncovered, in moderate oven 30 minutes.
6. Melt butter in pan, add flour and cook for 1 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and cream, stir until sauce boils and thickens.
7. Add thinly sliced mushrooms, salt and pepper, simmer, uncovered, 1 minute.
